Questions Related to the Law of Human Nature

In the first five chapters of the book Mere Christianity, people can learn what the Law of Human Nature is, the objections and counter-objections to this law, the reality of the law, the lies behind the law, and Why do we have cause to be uneasy.

There is a way to understand the Law of Human Nature. Humanity has all kinds of laws. There is a law of gravitation that affects all bodies and laws of biology that affect organisms. There are laws for everything. Therefore, there must be a law for human beings. Nowadays, many people confuse the Law of Nature, such as gravitation and heredity, with the Law of Human Nature. However, this is not true because the Law or Rule about Right and Wrong is the Law of Human Nature (4). Essentially, human beings always behave in a certain way and do not have the ability to change themselves (8).

The Law of Human Nature is different from animals, vegetables, and inorganic things. People can choose to disobey it or obey it. Humans do not need to be taught about this law because it is already in them. That is why when people are quarreling, there is some kind of law or rule that seems to have been broken in their minds (4–5).
